Craven's Crew Class Question (Week of 06 April)
This week’s class “question” is actually another small set of things my students are wondering about!
This week’s class “question” is actually another small set of things my students are wondering about!

My Answers:
(Will you) show us the places you like to go?
Sure! When it’s nice out and I need to work, I like to sit on my patio. Canal boats float by, and sometimes they toot their horns! In the city, graffiti is an art form, and many famous graffiti artists have worked in London… so it’s like working in an outdoor art exhibit, too.

London is so historic & pretty that I also like to just wander the streets and explore. A fun thing to do is spot red phone booths on my walks!

When I have more time, I love to visit villages along the English Channel. I recently took a ferry boat across the water between France & England. Look closely to see the White Cliffs of Dover behind me.

What does your house look like?
Apartments in London are called flats and are usually quite a bit smaller than homes we’re used to in the States. My flat is called a studio, which means the bedroom, kitchen, and living space is in one room. Luckily, the bathroom is separate. ;) One neat thing is that there is a pool in my building!

Do you have any friends?
Yes! The people who work and live in my residence are so friendly, and so are the professors at the university where I’m working. I’ve also met some other types of Fulbright award recipients. London is close to Paris, so I get to see my son more often and spend time together, too!
