Melissa Craven

As a recipient of the Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching Research (2025-2026 cycle, UK), I will be conducting research centered around innovative ESOL practices employed in schools and organizations throughout the UK. I will use my findings to develop tools for U.S. teachers and administrators.

I currently teach second grade outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to entering the field of education, I acted as a project engineer in the food packaging industry. I encourage everyone to pursue your interests and continue educating yourself, even at "non-traditional" ages!
